The Mess is up – GIVEAWAY
November 30, 2008 | Category: I'm a Critic
So another successful Thanksgiving has come and gone. The dishes are done, the leftovers have (hopefully) been eaten, and the trash has been taken out. The only thing left to be done at the DesignHER home is tackling the 4 year olds shirt with cranberry sauce dribbled down the front.
Now I can tell you’re thinking to yourself, wow her kids eat cranberry sauce! Well no, they don’t. Let me explain…they put it in their mouth because it looks pretty on the plate. They find out that they don’t like it, open their mouth, and let gravity do it’s job. It just fall out of their mouth, down their shirt, and lands in their lap….leaving a bright red trail in it’s wake.
Lucky for me, I aced Mommy 101. I can cook, I can wipe butt, and I am fantastic at stain removal. Seriously I am. Recently I got to test out my skilz with some newly launched advanced formula Clorox 2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster. It’s good, I give it 2 thumbs up.
What’s so super special about this product you ask? Well, it’s great for kids clothes because it’s designed to clean BRIGHT CLOTHES (if you’ve ever seen my girls closets you know that bright is right) Just throw it in with whatever detergent you already use and experience cleaner, brighter clothes.
Want to try it out for yourself? I have 4 coupons good for a free bottle of Clorox 2 Stain Fighter and Color Booster. To be entered to win, go ahead and leave me a comment letting me know what the toughest stain you face thanks to your kids.
Comments will close Friday, December 5th, 2008.
*comments are closed, contest has expired. The winners are The Hesses, Joanna, Chris and Dana Jae. Thanks to all who participated.

Worst stains at my house are dirt and grass stains on white soccer socks and any food my teenager has on his plate that lands on the tablecloth; as well as an occasional wine stain from my husband.
I’ve heard the Chlorox 2 does works but have not tried it yet.

Boat boy didn’t poop for 3 days and then decided to let one go….all up his back and down his legs. So, I took off his sleeper and put it in the laundry room with intentions of getting to it after I bathed him…I forgot. It did come clean but left a little brown stain on the inside. I love the poop!

Have you seen my daughter eat? I think we have ruined the most clothes and nothing seems to work. My sister (whose clothes they were originally) keeps getting mad at me…help!

My worst stains are all over my daughter’s clothes and it’s just baby food vegetables and fruits. She wears a bib all the time but the food still gets *everywhere* and the fronts of all her cute shirts are stained. My son was never like this so I have no clue what to do and although I like Seventh Generation for washing her diapers, it doesn’t really seem to do the trick on food stains.

The worst stain? Ohhhh, that’s an easy one! It would have to be the grass/blood stain on the pants after the annual Thanksgiving Day massacre -er- football game.
Suffice it to say, Clorox 2 and I are well-acquainted.

Here’s EXACTLY what I was thinking: “wow her kids eat cranberry sauce.”
How about grass stains ground into the knees of cotton tights?

My daughter is 2 years old, and right now our biggest stain problems are definitely chocolate and marker on her clothes.

Having an eight year old boy the stains that give me the most trouble are grass stains and all the stains on his shirts from using it to wipe his hands into instead of a napkin!!!

Stains – coffee, when my children bump my arm and I spill it all over myself. Kind of a good thing I’m always too busy for the coffee to actually be hot…

I have a three year old and a four year old. I fight every type of food stain, but my favorites are Ketchup, Mustard, Spaghetti sauce and we can’t bypass the infamous marker stains during Art time:)
