And She will be called Cholula

October 14, 2009 | Category: I'm an Eater, I'm The Rage's Momma

In this quest to figuring out baby #3′s name, many of you have told me that you have named your children after people/places/things that are of importance to you. I think this is an awesome idea – if you have surrounded yourself with people that have cool names.

People that mean a lot to me have names that work for them, but not for me. Although I love many of you dearly, your name just doesn’t do it for me when it comes to naming my offspring.

If I did go with this idea of naming my child after things (not people) that have been important in my life, this is what it would look like:

PK would have been named Chester. I ate SO MANY Cheetos during my pregnancy with her that I was amazed she didn’t come out with little orange fingers. Lord knows I spent the majority of my pregnancy with them. It’s not easy being cheesy.

And She will be called CholulaBirdie would have been named Totino. As in, Totino’s Pizza Rolls (preferably the “combo” variety). Every night I would crave these tiny little heavenly pockets of goodness. I still really enjoy a good roll, but not like when I was pregnant with the Bird. It was an unhealthy obsession.

This time around, if this baby happens to be a girl, she will be named Cholula. Bottles upon bottles of this lovely slender lady have been consumed during this pregnancy. I put her on everything. And if I don’t pour her on my plate, she’s been carefully considered and sadly missed. I might just have to admit that I meal plan around here, making sure she has a place at the table. She’s so much for that just a condiment to me. And yes, I do get heartburn and don’t care.

What were you’re pregnancy obsession? Don’t tell me it was broccoli or celery. And I won’t believe you for a second if you tell me you craved rice cakes. Be honest.

Chester, Totino and Cholula – would have made a cute bunch of kids, don’t you think?

*side note: to the anonymous commenter on my last post who left the comment about naming my kid Terdius, I need to know who you are. You not only made my husband laugh, you made me cry, almost pee myself, and gave me one of my hardest self-induced contractions ever. I might need to hire you to get me through labor.

My son should have been named Moe or Homewrecker (for my love of Moe's Homewrecker burrito.)

My daughter should have been named Taco Bell.

I recently just discovered the goodness that is hot sauce. I would never use it ever but then I gave it a try on eggs and oh my gosh I was in love (no I am not pregnant, lol)

Just like Jennifer, I too ate at Moe's several times a week with my daughter! We were there so much that the owner gave us a baby gift – a Moe's bib. If you are in the Fishers area you can see her picture proudly displayed at Moe's.

My first son would have been named Moo – for my love … no … NEED for any beef & milk products I could get my hands on!

My second son would have been named Starburst or simply Junk for my desire of the most unhealthy food on this planet. I would crave the sweetness of Starburst then began adding a "twist" by taking sips of orange Fanta to add another tang to my taste buds. I know, sugar overload, and kinda gross, but it made me happy and we all know you gotta keep a preggo lady happy!! LOL

First, you must know that Cholula is probably the only woman my husband would leave me for. I swear – he is infatuated with her!

Second, for the first 7 MONTHS (I was one of the rare "lucky" ones) of my pregnancy I couldn't keep anything down. The one thing that worked were Mickey D's double cheese. But, once I could keep things down – Cheetos all the way! The twins could be called CheeChee and Dosqueso.

I guess it's good that your hot sauce weakness isn't the same as mine… sriracha sauce (rooster sauce).

    Funny!!!

Rebekah Christine would have been "Kraft dinner Franks"

Sarah Elizabeth would have been " KD Spicy herbamere"

And Baby #3 should be Mr. noodle Dulse" Yap craving seeweed (very strange and salty) craving!!!!

KD and Mr.noodle are comfort food that my mom serve us when we were sick growing up So I guess that is why I crave them for the first 3 months of pregnancy!

Hmmm…I don't think I would name my kid OJ, though that is all I wanted during my pregnancy. Couldn't get enough orange juice!

I'm PG now and I can't get enough McD's hot fudge sundaes. For some reason chocolate sauce on another ice cream isn't enough. It has to be hot and it has to be soft serve.

"Smoothie Fruit Ice Cream Root-Beer Cereal". Sometimes all mixed together. "Smooth" for short:) So not hot sauce! I couldn't of handled it, unless it was followed by a mango lassi that is.

Apple would have been his name because I had too many French Fry favorites during pregnancy. Apple Juice came in at a close second.
