The Weekly Gimme – The Binding Bee

I’ve been wanting to start this for a long time. A place where I can share my treasures with you.
I find myself constantly searching, and finding, beautiful things.
I rummage though countless thrift stores, garage sales, art galleries, etsy-ish places, and of course online locations.
I find great stuff. And I want to share it with you.
I’m not bragging, I consider it more like sharing a secret with a good friend.
Today? I’m wearing The Binding Bee.
With tiny little archival papers between reclaimed leather, I’m letting my girls draw me little love notes within the pages.
I love it. Please gimme.
Come back every weekend, to discover what I’ve found for the weekly gimme.

Emily, I feel so honored that my necklace is the first feature on your “weekly gimme”. Thank you for supporting local artists like me and for the oh-so-sweet description here on your blog. I hope to see you around at other shows or in a thrift store perhaps. I’ll be checking back to see what else makes it on your list! Thanks again.

JC got me a necklace similar to this, when Emerson was born. It has her initials stamped on a tiny book and Luke’s initials stamped on a larger book. So precious. LOVE the idea of having the kids write on the pages.
Great idea!!!

Emily,
I love the fact that you blog on great art that is found locally.
We also carry this necklace exclusively in NorthWest Indiana / Chicago Metro at my shop in Valparaiso, Indiana. Thanks for supporting the Binding Bee and local arts!
