I’ve been running almost everyday. Starting small, maybe around 3 miles a pop. I’m in desperate need of a few new running tunes. If you have any good suggestions, please leave me a comment. I promise I’ll download it asap.

On that same note, I’m actually thinking of training for the Indy Mini Marathon. Running a 1/2 marathon has always been on my life bucket list, and I have a few more weeks to decide for sure if I’m going to attempt it this year. You guys, who am I?

Additionally, the gross detox is going swell, aside from a few daily belly aches. Let’s just say my body isn’t really used to all these cleansing veggies and probiotics. It’s all, feed me my bread and candy, woman! Or maybe I just had some bad smoked salmon. It really could be either.

Worth noting: I haven’t had a diet coke in 9 days and am still alive.

Also, thanks to all these very green veggies I’m eating, I’m now addicted to wrapping all the foods in rice paper. Then dipping them in Trader Joe’s sweet chili sauce, naturally.

Worth noting: I don’t know how people diet without a Trader Joe’s near by.

Paul got a fancy new highchair in the mail last week. Not sure if they meant for the tray to become a finger painting canvas, but it works perfectly for craft time nonetheless. Keep your eye open for a super sweet ZAAZ giveaway, coming soon to a babble post near you.

I’m staying up way too late every night watching the 5th season of Gossip Girl on netflix. I just need to finish it already, so I can get on with my very important life.

Worth noting: Thanks to Gossip Girl, I’m not addicted to Zee Avi. If I was a blog that played music when you clicked on me, I would be playing this song:

Boom sha clack clack.

Also, I’m reading The Litigators, and am really enjoying it. It’s a John Grisham novel, which I ironically swore off anything Grisham over 15 years ago after reading The Firm boom sha clack clack. You guys, who am I?

The past couple days my mom was here helping out, and my mother-in-law is coming tomorrow to stay for a few days. Living away from family is hard, and I am very thankful my momfolks come down to help every so often.

Valentines Day is next weekend. I need to schedule a dinner reservation and find a super-sweet little gift to give my love. What are you giving your love person this year?

Boom sha clack clack, my friends.

Enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks for letting me brain dump all over you. Hopefully, it wipes up easily.

  1. we don’t do VDay, so I can’t help you there.

and I don’t run (anymore), so no help on tunes either, except I always listened to JT when I did run. He’s the best.

  4. http://www.rockmyrun.com is awesome! And you get a free credit per month. I love all of the mixes as a runner that tends to get bored and need to switch it up tons.

  6. Yay! Good for you! Now don’t overdue it. Make sure you give your muscles time to recoup after running. Running every other day is great and then doing something else (pilates?) on your nonrun days. Course, if you are gonna train for a 1/2 marathon then ignore everything I’ve said. ;)

I have no idea what to get the hubby for Vday. I think we’ll just go out to dinner. ???

  7. Go you! If I ran at all, I’d sign up for the mini, too. Unfortunately, running makes me sad-pants, so I signed up for Ride Across INdiana this year, so I feel ya on having a big fitness goal in the near future! :-)

You’re awesome and I hope to see you soon!
