Ridemakerz – Giveaway

Every now and again I get the privilege and honor to do fun bloggy outings here in Indy. I jump at every chance I get; they are always SO much fun. This past weekend my family and I got to attend a really fun event at Ridemakerz. I had never been to Ridemakerz before, so I went into the event not knowing what to expect.
When we got there we were given the VIP grand tour of the store (which resembles an auto garage, in a shiny sort of way), and download on how the process worked. From the moment we were there I was blown away. The store is spectacular, the employees were beyond helpful and friendly, and all of our rides (yes I said rides, we go to make three) were amazing.
So what is Ridemakerz you ask? Well….think build-a-bear, but totally different (totally cooler in my opinion). Think street cars, monster trucks, sound effects, tricked out treads, decalz, spoilerz, tail pipez and so much chrome it will make your head spin!
Basically, what you do is visit a Ridemakerz store or go online, choose a car body (nearly 70 different bodies and paint styles to choose from), then choose ala carte how you want to customize your ride. Going from station to station, you decide what your car is going to look like. It’s up to the creator how it’s going to be motorized, sonicized, mobilized, customized and personalized (which in our case meant a mean orange paint job adorned with flower decals).
This store has totally outdone themselves when it comes to creating a interactive retail experience for the whole family. I can honestly say it was one of the first times where my husband and I were having just as much fun as my 4 year old daughter.
A word of warning when you go….pencil in a good chunk on time. It’s truly a destination event, meaning you will want to spend some time designing your ride!

OMG Girlfriend!! This is the BEST Giveaway you have ever had- such an amazing store! And it totally DRIVES up our alley! We took Tim to get his first “ride” last year for his birthday and it was awesome! Can’t believe you got to get three of them! Sooo lucky! I would LOVE to treat my Lucas to one of these so they can really race!!!
I think Lucas would choose the Dodge Challenger Sublime- its his favorite color!!

We should get to see pics of the rides you guys built! I’ve seen this store before, but never gone in. Very cool concept. Price is fairly steep in my thrifty opinion. I digress. While I would let LA or Boayboy pick out their own, I think the black viper is pretty sweet. And, it would need to be radio controlled because LA doesn’t have an RC yet. [Ah]

So I made the mistake of opening this when my 15 year old son was watching. 5 minutes later, we have a $105 car in the shopping cart. I need to win so we can buy the car. Otherwise, he is going to be very disappointed! LOL

Whoops, we chose Dodge Viper Pit Black #1, with 5 bolt chrome wheels, and a gazoodles of add ons (obviously, because the car itself is only $29!).

I like that RZ Rascal Punk Pink ! I have a feeling that my son would argue with that though so I’d probably end up whining and crying right there in RIDEMAKERZ.

We are going to Cali for Christmas, so the first thing I did was look for a store in LA. You would think they would have one in LA, right? They don’t I was so bummed. Timmy would love this store and so would his Papa!!!
It looks like it was a really fun experience.
Online I chose the RZ Rascal in Jewel Blue with Bolt Chrome rims and a cool spoiler. I also chose a roof rack that holds a surf board, skis and snow board. I’m fairly certain this isn’t what Timmy would pick, but I was having fun and chosing the prettiest one!

This is an awesome prize,and I know my husband would love it! He has been joking for a while that he wants a Ford F-450 just so he can put a sticker on it that says “Yes, this is my truck and No, I won’t help you move.” Not an option for this eco-friendly mama. OMG! I had stumbled upon the Ridemakerz before but hadn’t REALLY looked at what they had. I would so choose the Scion xb in Wasabi Green. ( After my second son was born we had an xb but then baby number three came along and we gave it up for something more ‘practical’ and have been kicking ourselves in the you know waht ever since!)
